A Pond Grows in Brooklyn

I was the Doc today and told my patient Dr. Lopez to drink 2 cups of Orange Juice and call me in the morning hope it worked buddy my bill is in the mail lol. Feel better I want to see the fish.

LOL, While priming the 5' X 3" stand pipe from the bottom drain of the pond during repairs, I dropped the applicator down the pipe!

OMG how am I going to get that? Finally we found a magnet from my woodshop

I removed the magnet, tied it to a string, and turned it on.

Here Exclusive252 retrieved the pvc priming applicator

lmao Im glad I was there I like the pond and cant wait to see it up and running. I also want to see your pond Jarrett when the wife is out for the day or weekend

Having problems.....
The pumps cant seem to overcome the amount of air in the plumbing or an air leak from somewhere.

I'm leaning toward excess air in the plumbing. Hmmmm
gonna stare at it for an hour or so before I start calling some physics guys..

Maybe just needs Primed? Take a hose and just keep flooding the Plumbing until it starts again as it needs to be devoid of all the air in the lines to get suction again, Me thinks!

mE THINKS too :)

However I have a 2 gal priming pot just prior to the pumps. The standpipe is about 6" above the water level then I have it reduced from 3" to 2" plumbing.

Me thinking that maybe it the air in the 1.5" flex tubing which runs ~20' from the stream and joins the standpipe that contributes most of the air.... So, I have a ck valve I'm gonna place in there later. Maybe that'll do the job......

OK! Good Luck

Awsome pond. I also have a red eared turtle that I had for 12 years now ever since he was the size of a quarter. It's not as big as yours, but its getting there, haha.

Anthony welcome back bud I hope all is ok and I really need to drop some stuff off to you. Is your tank rdy for some SPS yet ?

Now the turtle is real comfortable with her surroundings as she's walking around the yard then back to the pond on a regular! I think one day I'll find her lounging on one of the chairs!! LOL
