It is hard to believe that it has only been four months since I first filled my tank with water.
In some ways it feels like it was yesterday and in other ways, it seems like it has been a year. In any event, it has been a lot of fun!!! I still feel like I just getting started with my build. So much more that I want to do.
I took my first tank video tonight to give everyone an idea of what I spend my evenings watching. It is not great quality by any means. I am using an old camcorder and lost a lot of color and quality from transferring/converting the camcorder movie to an SD card, to my mac, to a file that I could watch and then uploading to YouTube.
My next video will be better... promise!

As much enjoyment as I have had building this tank, it is even better sitting back with a beer and watching all of the inhabitants!

Hey Dan,
I got emails on the 5th and 13th from you and I replied back to both on the same day. On the 5th I sent two emails. Check if I am sitting in your Spam folder. I personally like honey glazed ham better than spam, but my good Jewish mother won't make either for the holidays

Dave, I checked in my folders and they are all Kosher. Nothing from Dave B or o2manyfish... So I have no idea how you responded or what the answers to my questions were... I like to stick with the chicken soup, brisket, apples & honey. Happy New Year!

Boys, boys, boys...
Why must I receive a delivery every Friday? Shouldn't we all have a weekend of rest and enjoyment? Isn't a good portion of reef keeping about sitting back and enjoying our tanks and not spending the afternoon cleaning and acclimating? Does a delivery need to be received every weeks to sustain a large reef system?
I am shocked!
How much energy does one have to expend opening packages? It is not Christmas or Chanukah....
Fresh Marine delivered three 2.5" Caribbean Blue Tangs this morning along with two large Red Lettuce Nudibranches and a medium Purple Nudibranch.
Tomorrow I am expecting a delivery from Justin at Avast Marine. I ordered two of their MR-16 (large, 7L capacity) media reactors. I have been running GFO out of a Seaside Aquatics reactor and carbon out of a Fluval Canister Filter. Both are just too small for my system.
My LFS's are also getting deliveries. I am sure I will be plenty busy.
