Yeah, what he said! Love the granulosa looking one on the right. Biggles, your beginning to hoard acros.. You may have a problem..
Keep up the good work!
Thanks Matt, i'm trying to get all the good ones out of the ocean before you get stuck in

I think that acro is actually A. Rosaria due to the branch growth pattern and corallites, i actually bought it because i think i've had one previously and it ended up with ice blue branches and purple corallite lips - it was a tad sexy can i tell you lol. Low to med light for all the loripes, granulosa, rosaria etc is the best spot for max pigmentation from my own experiences. I know they have all hated high light and 'greyed' out if you know what i mean Matt. Not brown but that dirty weird off light grey sorta kinda lol.......:crazy1:
Hey Biggles, do you have any videos with all the pumps on, so I can get an idea of the flow in your current tank?
Hey Mark, no i don't but this weekend i'll make one with a food dump so you can see the flow in the display mate.
Biggles I am so jealous of your new setup mate.
400w Radiums...6xT5 tubes... This would be my dream lighting setup.
I love how much more space you are going to have mate. New tank size makes Acro hoarding much easier.
Can you please track colour changes in these corals...they havent come in super coloured, and it would be interesting to see how long and how much they colour up.
Don't forget the triple 24W T5's across the end - don't want to leave any gaps for the acros to jump out

The tank will be 66x32x20" but i will be losing 5-6" at the wall end with the side to side overflow but that still leaves me with a 60 x 32" rectangle with no visible overflow box for the first time so nice clean lines. I'll prob use part of the overflow for some live rock - it will be a refuge/overflow zone since it will hold a lot of water which needn't go to waste
I'll show you how those acros change once settled in for a couple of weeks. All had ok PE the first night so they should settle in and color quickly with luck.
Can't wait to see what that stag lools like when its settled in and growing! If it gets a nice color in the branches that would be sweeeeet.
As soon as i saw it i started smiling like an idot mate, i'm sure you know the feeling

The largest branches are only 1/4" dia and just look a bit thicker due to the mass of long bushy radial corallites, the tips are 1/16" if they're lucky. It's the most twiggy and delicate stag i've seen in my travels. I'm going to chop it up tomorrow and place it in low, med & high light spots.
You can see the lack of light purple or blue pigments you'd expect to see with a night flash shot of a light blue stag. In contrast the acros behind it are rich with pigments. The tricolor is stinging and overgrowing the little pink stylo, the all fluoro lime table is ridiculous day or night
