New piece super glued and instantly set onto a frag rock, frag for Dom since he helped me pick it out and a frag of my brightest blue acro mounted onto some rubble to add a blue pop to the middle of the left island.

The super glue accelerator takes one spray and sets all the glue in about 3-5 secs - it's the ducks guts for impatient acro fraggers...........

Before i go to bed i meant to tell you about a certain red headed mate of mine who somehow scored the SPS partner of all time........

After catching up with Dom, Mark and Dave for 15 mins at the shop i was looking at the 12 or so 1"-1.5" cultured clams that all looked very pretty. At $250- a throw i will only ever look at the shop however.

Up walks Dom with a grin on his face and says

Now this is where everything went weird and i started to think i was in some reef keeper twilight zone episode........ you are not going to believe this....:spin1:

Dom holds up this little slip of paper the size of a credit card with color print on it and i read something similar to:

I then yelled at Dave and Mark ' do you guys know about this bleeping voucher Dom has '

Laughing they both say yeah it's legit, we knew about it before Dom.

I walk down and here is this shimmering metallic rainbow fish fluttering away like a smart arse that knows it's pretty as hell.

I yelled out to Mark ' is he seriously getting this $%#$@ flasher wrasse for free too '

' YUP ' - and he's got the same annoying grin on his face too..........

I spent about 15-20 secs storming up and down the tank aisles ranting and swearing with good reason at how unfair it was that Dom had a voucher and i was never gonna get one. The three clowns all thought it was funny but i was right royally upset............:mad2::hammer:

I know the three of you waited to drop the voucher bomb on me so you'd all get a good laugh. You're all on my list....... all three of you......

Very dark colors but i had to leave it like that or the new very pale acro looks like a white blur exposure wise lol. In between a pair of blue acros with a deep purple behind it - POP !

It's getting nuked right under a 400W Radium even though it's pale - if it loses PE during the day i'll drop the halides run times back to 3-4 hours for a few days to let it settle easier. A. microclados no matter the color morph should always have very good PE 24/7 just like most milli's so if your not seeing pretty shaggy polyp extension on your SSC type acros they aren't very happy at all.
A. microclados is one of the best all round acros imo. For ease of care and ease of color holding they should be top of your list when you venture into SPS and want a hardy acro that will reward you with colors even when you only have half a clue like all of us when we started out. At the LFS yesterday Dom and i were looking at about 5-6 different color variants of microclados, all beautiful shades of pink,mauve and greens.

Thanks Mike, there's a lot of color variants starting to be collected lately which makes it hard to choose the right one when you're trying to avoid SSC colors.

I think i chose wisely this time.........

I do not think your colors are off, they look amazing, and I see PE, so I am sure your tank and corals are doing fine, just a bit of a color porn addict is all, maybe we can form a group counseling committee for the acro color porn addicts, I nominate you President Biggles! ACPA~ I will be the treasurer, that way I can have access to the financial aspects of the group

A week ago i received my chemistry set from Germany. I stopped all dosing and diluted the comp 1 & 2 by half with straight alk and calcium - no Mg as it's 1350.

Once the Empire was finally able to secure the individual elements that make up koralcolor the dark potion was made and fed into the acro pigment generator aboard the death star...........

There will be no peace you rebel filth............ you have a week to get your flubber to safety.........:strooper:

I took these tonight under 4 x lagoon blues and 7 x actinic plus T5's only so there was no exposure contrasts from the intense 400W radiums when they are on. I adjusted the white balance a bit and also brightened the pics but i wanted you too see what i think i see when just those lights are on, the acro pigments will catch fire underwater if i up the dose i reckon so i'm just going to take it cautiously......... or not.........
Dom is coming over on monday - i changed my wednesday to monday mate because i can't wait that long......... and he can judge whether the death star is battle ready........

And no i did not taste the triton elements even though the most scary looking and sounding one - cobalt, is ever so slightly soft pink colored and it's in a tin lidded jar unlike the other elements with plastic lids. It's clearly special or they wouldn't highlight it like that. It is both scary and extremely enticing looking at the same time.......... this is a good example of dangerous packaging, it might as well be in a bottle labelled cherry soda from my perspective.
