acan bleaching... what now?!

hey guys..
i have a big purple acan enchitata that is starting to lose some of its color. i think it cant take my 250 watt halide and 2 28 watt 03 bulbs. so my question is, what can i do to make it more succeptable to the light? should i cut back the photo period and by how much? my halide is on roughly 11 hours a day. thanks a bunch..oh yeah, and i cant move it into the shade b/c i dont have any shady parts.

11 hours is alot IMO. You should have a 12 hour photoperiod but only 7-9 hours of MH.
