I prefer the straight up looks of nigricans and achilles.

FWIW I've heard discussions where the hybrid is considered easier to maintain than purebred achilles..............

it could do fine in a 6 x 2 footprint.

achillles in the wild hang out right near the shore in crazy surf conditions. slaping them in 6 ft tank takes adjustment. kinda like owning a ferrari and not driving over 10 mph . sure you can do it but .....

sorry to hear about your Grandfather and I'm saying a prayer for him.

Many factors are a big deal for Achilles. Oxygenation would certainly seem play a large factor.
