dont you just hate when you buy a coral for its color, get it in the tank and bam! its a diff color!!!!!!! errrrrrgh This was like blue blue blue at the store and it turned out purple in my tank, oh well the hunt continues for my digi portion of the tank. I want 3-4 digis clustered together maybe an orange and a red

I dont know what the secret to digis is, but I cant grow one to save my life! lol I finally have a green digi and a yellow that are branching for me after being in my systems for the last 3-4 years...they would grow well for a month or two then stop but still lay more base. I dont get it. lol

Lol I guess I haven't tried yelling obcenities at them. Maybe I'll try to get them in lower flow and see how that goes. Thanks for the suggestions.

It's funny, in my last tank as well as my current one over the years, the lower I paced digis, the better they grow and color up.. But I've had other SPS that do nada for a year or more and then one day decide to just start growing like crazy... Proper placement and flow have so much to do with coral growth.

haha thanks Jon, I also agree that digis like to be lower aswell. I had two in the last setup, one at ~18inches (23 from T5's) that did great and another at about ~10 inches (15 from T5's) that never had polyps out and grew like poop. The latter was also in slightly higher flow. JMO

pink stylo frag, I love stylos
tri color, valida i guess. I got this guy cuz the polyps are the greenest ive seen on a valida. This is only cropped no color adjust or exposure, nadda.
i'm lookin for a rainbow or neon green stylo. i saw the latter in the marketplace but when my tank is ready, they are all gone
gotta wait'n see.

some of the new corals are showing good PE so I snapped some pics and an updated FTS. New fish, red velvet fairy wrasse and a yasha haze goby with randal pistol shrimp pretty excited about these new additions

Back from the doc and the xrays were ok though not to say im out of the woods, Im not as concerned as before. I have Lumbar scoliosis and ive lost a bit of disc space in my lumbar wich isnt good but I can live with isnt good because it doesnt require surgury!!
Another bit of bad news, I found my newly added pearly jawfish inviserated in my sump, Likely went through a pump... shoot darnit didnt even last three days.
On a lighter note, the tank is doing great! still battling some P04 but nothing I cant control. Im gonna snap some pics now and post shortly for you all to enjoy. Even though theres never many coments they are always good and the view count tells me they are enjoyed so that makes me happy.
