Yeeha!!! Pics!!
Very psyched. Like the other Matt said, it don't get any better!!

Nice score on the fish. Good to see youre posting acro photos again. Look forward to seeing colourful SPS woohooo :D

Thanks Sahin. I got my work cut out for me. Few more months and it should be more up to snuff round here

I love the tusk. I've been looking for a small Australian one for a while now, but I think they might be seasonal. Haven't been able to locate one. I'm on a couple "in stock alert" mailing lists waiting patiently.

Anything from aus seems to be seasonal lol. Costs so much to import that it's not as common.

Kevin, don't even think for a minute that you can hide from me!!
We will have to whore it up together sometime!!
I'll bring the cutters if you bring her whips and chains. ;)

Your pictures are just stunning Kev!! :inlove: Immaculate!

Tank looks like it's cracking along with those colours!!

Very cool mirror anthias.
I'm liking the yellow tips as well

thanks!

the tank is doing just ok for now. still working out some issues. at least its stable for now. Mostly just nutrient poor and too sterile.

Beautiful shots!!!!

Can you give us some details of your pictures? How do you take them?
With what type of camera and setting?

Thx a lot and keep post others for our entertainement^^

Stef

Thank you very much!

I use a canon 60D crop body with a tamaron 90mil macro on a vanguard tripod with pistol grip trigger (great for fish).

Setting change quite a bit. Usually 2.8~5 aperture depending on subject.

ISO is typically set to 100 for corals, 800 for fish

Shutter is as fast as I can get keeping a half or full stop under neutral. I prefer to add brightness rather than take it away.

Post process in Lightroom

Things I'm conscious about when shooting,

Exposure
Composition
DOF
Bokeh

Pro tip for fish shots, make sure the eye is perfectly in focus and the rest will follow. Fish are a pain in the butt

What about your Springeri damsels? Are they well behavied? Do you keep them in a group or a pair?

I'm thinking in adding pomacentrus alleni o chrysiptera springery to my 75g but my LFS guy keeps saying that I wil regret sonner than later.

Congratulations, your tank is beatiful and your shots are AMAZING
