Acros make me smile again

Peter, My Ice Fire echinata is a beautiful green and blue with hints of yellow...I keep it lower in the tank and find it stunning. I've heard that the Ice Fire will be more like your larger echinata if it is up high in really intense light. Not sure though, just what I've heard. I agree on that beauty that is encrusting, stay patient!!! Your tank is looking gorgeous :D.

Thanks Alicia! And don't feel bad, my SS also RTN'ed, after encrusting nicely

lovely set up.
i'm learning about SPS care and leaning that way.

They are addicting yet very rewarding.

SDguy, you do not have any aggression with your lyretail and barlette?

And do you a fish list somewhere? ^^

No, my anthias all get along pretty well. The male bartlett was aggressive to some new carberryi for a while, but has since died, so it's not an issue.

A new aussie mille that I've only had a few months. Still coloring up, but it adds a nice contrasting color to an area of the tank filled with blues and purples.

Hi SDGuy, the colors in your tank is very very nice. Rockscaping a vertical tank looks very difficult but yours looks nice. I like the openings everywhere and it'd be cool seeing all the fish interacting swimming through the rock on all levels.
Your aussie mille is awesome. All my red milles polyps look brownish red. Any tips on making the polyps more red? Thanks.

Thank you! IME the lower the nutrients in the water, the nicer mille polyps will get.

Here's an aussie one that still refuses to grow out, only encrust. I'm considering trying to cut the tiny branch off the side to see if it will stimulate outward growth. Please ignore the satan spawn palys :o

Continues to morph...not sure if this is good or not though...

Oh man, that morph is not good at all. you will have insane growth if you cut that lil nub off and give it to me. heh heh, looks like a purple ssc nasuta
