Wow, that does look difficult. I would love to to try something like that out though. Sometimes the more difficult makes it more worth it you know? I am just curious if anyone has had experiences. They look reef safe, I did some other reading since your post and I see they are venomous.

Anyone with personal experience? I am at work and trying to determine if I should pick this pair up before they are gone.

Yea I was looking at them too. They look awesome, but not sure I feel like trying to target feed them every time. I know people do it for corals, but seems like a pain for fish.

Well I should have jumped on them earlier, they were sold. Oh well. Thank you everyone for your responses.

YOu'll note in the video, he waits until the clown, which is not one the more peaceful species, has turned away. Then he nabs it. I'd say you'd see more of this sort if you have a blenny-goby sort of tank without the pushy big guys.

Yeah those were definitely interesting videos. I wonder if the croucher "waits" as you pointed because of the pushy fish. I wonder if in a calmer environment it would be easier for them to adjust.

Hey that last one is my video! I haven't even seen it for a long time.

Anyone with personal experience? I am at work and trying to determine if I should pick this pair up before they are gone.

So yeah I have personal experience. Unless you directly feed them they won't go looking for food. They are really best for a nano display and in case you can't tell from my video, the turkey baster lets go of way too much food at a time for these guys. Also, like seen in the video, they just sit there wedged in a crevice aaaalllllll day. I still love them, but they are a bit of work.

Better in a nano eh? My wife wants a "bedroom" or "office tank" she works remotely. Maybe these would be a good addition.

Not so much better, but more like that's the only way to go. They might survive in a bigger tank if theres enough food getting around, but if you can't find them to feed them there's a good chance they will just disappear. If you do decide to get them just be ready for them to hide very well and to have to target feed them.

Yeah, they are up on DD almost every day. They are a type of scorpionfish, so their dorsal fin can sting you. Also, in a larger tank, they will get lost easily and you will not be able to see them as much due to them being reclusive fish.

The powerheads blowing the food around in the first video was frustrating me. They may hid but that one sucker was grabbing hold of the baster!!!
