I have had a green hadani (giant) carpet anenome for 6 months. It is now about 8 inches in diameter and growing from 6 inches over last 2 to 3 months. I have had a pair of ocellaris clowns in the tank for 6 months with it, without any hosting. They hide behind the live rock wall rather than go to the anenome. The anenome is "sticky" to everything and once I saw the female 5 inch ocellaris touch it with a sting and defense actiions to get away from it. The two paired clowns stay away from it. What type of clown has a good chance to be accepted as a host and why won't the clown pair go into the anenome. Are there aggressive anenomes that won't host anything. What are the chances of another species of clowns being hosted without being killed by this aggressie anenome. It is very sticky and tried to eat snails and cucumbers and is sticky to my hands when I touch it.
