How many watts are the t5 on the side and wow your corals look good especially since ur using natural sunlight wow I think I will try tht so u have no filter or skimmer hooked up what so ever just all natural

there is a total of 216 watts of t5 light. one blue and one white bulb along the front and one blue and one white bulb along the back. no, the tank has no mechanical filtration, but it does have a dsb, lots of macro algae and several mangroves growing out the top.

I'm sorry to hear about the loss of the cuttles. Is the sole survivor the oldest one? I thought that you had one that was eating molly fry already? Its such a shame because your tank seems as though it would be a cuttle wonderland!

i did have one that was eating mollies and when i added the new eggs to the container, it quit eating. i am at a loss at this point as to what is going on.

thanks for moving and renaming the thread dave, didnt seem to fit into cephalopods since i will not be doing cuttlefish anymore.

after several attempts of raising them from eggs or hatchlings, i have decided not to try again. this will now be a reef with some aggressive fish.

i dunno dave, it kinda fits in a few places - it is a mixed reef (sps, lps, softies and nps) with an anemone and some lionfish...

well, one is a fu man chu, that is hiding well at the bottom of the spiny oyster and the other is a 3" baby volitans. from the front of the tank, neither is visible :)

i would still like to add a radiata, but dont know for sure

here ya go stickboy

nem's mouth is tight as it should be and it did not deflate at all overnight. hopefully it is as healthy as it appears right now

Thank goodness I stumbled on to this thread :-O
I'm sure sorry about your baby cuttles.
Your tank, rockscape, corals are STUNNING.

I'm planning a shorter stand (24") as well and I can NEVER find a photo of a tank here on rc which has a shorter stand so I can see what it really looks like.
I'm lucky to have found your great thread.

Great job.

thanks

ash, if you are talking about the pics on this page, the two corals in the bottom right corner of the tank are a purple fungia and a pale yellow goniopora.

found some nudibranchs eating my sps, so i had to add some wrasses.

here is 2/3 of my nudibranch elimination team
