I'm in Vancouver too. I got my 6025's from OceanAquatics. The tabs were and still are incredibly weak. This is also a newer model with the round cord (but no serial number on the side of the motor).
In addition, the epoxying of the cord and motor did interfere with the cord coming out of the housing. I dremeled the hole out a bit and that slightly improved things but the tabs are still the weak point that doesn't enable to housing to stay held together after this fix.
I love the flow these pumps produce after modding them but the bracket and housing problems are really soiling Tunze's name. The only thing keeping me from abandoning Tunze all together is their incredible customer service - Roger keep up the good work and Phil up here in Canada has been great also. But I hope production problems get straightened out because damage control can only attune for poor craftsmanship for so long before frustration and mistrust on the part of the consumer takes over.
