You're welcome, I believe proof is in the picture.
Frag added 9/13. Notice the tiny spec starting to attach to the rock on the bottom.

Sonicboom would you say the main difference between the Director and the new controller is more controll?

Noticed alot of people selling there Director and connecting to the Neptune what give any thoughts one way or the other?

I would say more features, you still have control over the color intensities with the new controller but you can access it from anywhere as well as an app. It is also able to pull live weather.

Update on normal hydras ( not 52 )

So I slowly over the course of a week have raised my uv, and my violet... The one post freaked me out, with him saying he lost frags because of the uv and violet.

I also raised my blues a tad and turned down the whites

So right now, I'm seeing some really nice color... I also over the corse of 2 weeks started using reef fuel... Which is amino based.. And well that could be helping as well... So right now colors are great... But still losing zoanthids for some reason... So anyways..

W 22
Violet 40
Red 15
Green 15
Blues both at 91
Uv at 50

I have some that are and some that are not.... Any thoughts? All of them are getting very long stems... No matter of they are on the sand bed or not

just wondering why you would still be losing zoas, i have a few attached to a rock on the sand be that are spreading. they started off on a small branch i attached to the rock.

Here's my latest settings. there is a bug in director that although you set your color to 100% it will only go to 99%. subtract clouds and i usually sit between 75 and 90%

See sonic... That's what I'm talking about... Wife just got me the director for Christmas....should be a long day of playing with it! I like a blue look... So that's why my blues are heavy. I'm going to start to bring my whites up to about 30 within a week o so.

So on the director... Does the unit have to be plugged into a router? Or can it wirelessly connect?

haha, congratulations!, it comes with a wireless dongle, so it can communicate via Ethernet connection or wireless.

sonic boom or anyone for that matter, i have a 140g 6'long 20"w and 22"D tank. I have 5 hydras over it and am looking for a little advise on light setup. ive had them running for 3 months now, as long as the tanks been up and still have browm sps. I havnt bought any new sps as i know the tank is very young only move this stuff over from a frag tank i needed to tear down. I have softies and lps,sps and zoas. Lights are 12" above the tank.
tank is stable and zoas look good as does acans and some chalice. some stuff not soo good coupla chalice and most sps, i have one piece of red planet that looks awesome which is odd considering i thought i lost it initially. also a couple others do look good but most of them are def just brown or many have rtn/snd aswell.
I love the lights and think I just need to get them dialed in right and wait out the maturing process
thanks

Now that my lights are pretty much dialed in, any new frags I get are starting out on the sand bed, once I see good coloration and polyp extension I will be moving it up 4-5" on a rock until it is in a good spot. Is there a way you can move the ones that are browning down?

funny u say that anything new goes in on the sand bed and all my frags have started there. went brown on the sb. moved em up thinking they need more light. the red planet frag pictured is actually the highest in the tank.
