apex is now being ordered and will controll my kessil"s selling my HYdra and director

now it is 100% blue, I am over this POS. I have 2 hydras and a director for sale the light is now 100% deep blue but my director and the webpage shows my lights should be off. I was ok with the bugs at first but it has now costed me me more money in lost zoas and sps than the light is worth. AI has had a great tract record but this light and the director is a piece of crap. I am going back to my Kesill a360 the money i have lost in coral would have paid for an apex.

It almost sounds like the director is too far from the lights or getting interference. If it looses connection to the lights they will dim, then once the connection is reestablished the light resume until the clock syncs. I would make sure you have the latest firmware and move it closer to the lights, you could pick a different channel to rule out interference.

why not put them on a standard timer for now, that was you can get control over the lights for now.

Hi Sonic

I loved the light settings you have for the AI Direcotor
Im going to try those light setting for my Vega as I know you have the hydra but my only question is if you can help please is that in the director settings for the vega I have Violet , Deep Blue , Royal Blue , Blue , Green , Red , Cool White

what settings would you recommend for the blue should I just copy the same settings you have for the Royal Blue and apply that to the Blue ?

Thanks sal, I currently have both my royal and dark blue set to 100% since it's winter and the days are shorter, not to mention all the rain we have been ggetting.

Hi thanks so your timing is the same as in your post but the max on all of the blues you have it set to 100 ?

Timing is pretty close but I am using the weather feature so it's probably off by an hour or so.

you use local weather or great barrier reef ? some people online I hear are using great barrier reef location but not sure if it would throw off the timing in time zone

I want to change it to Hawaii times I think since I'm on the westcoast. Does it just emulate the time or does it take into account the weather? I'm just using the new controller

The new controller just uses the time, I don't think it has weather yet or if at all.
