Lol yea since I had a new setup I didn't have to expand my lighting till I had corals under the area.

If your going to do that why not spend a little more and add more hydra's over the end's?

Thought about that but I think that would be a waste of money. I only want to light up the corners behind the overflows. For the price of 1 hydra I can get 2 kessil 150's with mounts.

Is that a green Chromis in the corner? Wow that is one big chromis.

Yes, That is a Green cromis. Had him 8yrs.
I am only adding 1 more hydra on the end.The hydras cover there area well.I might try taking the ati fixture down when i get the other led.And thanks

The 150's aren't, the 350 are super expensive. This is just a thought at the moment, may just leave it as is.

ReefTankHunter how high off the water are your lights. Is your tank a 180gal?

ReefTankHunter I wouldn't consider this cheating! I just got my 3rd hydra in a few weeks ago for my 125. But I decided to add 2 t-5s that I had lying around to try to get into the shadow areas. Its a bit "rigged" but everything has colored up a bit more! The second photo is without t-5s. and the 3rd is with.

ReefTankHunter how high off the water are your lights. Is your tank a 180gal?

Yes ,It is a 180.They are a 11" from water.If i go any lower, it will only be to 10"

Thanks!! I've had AI Sol blues before the hydras so my tank has been under LEDs for over a year. Never bleached anything. Couple SPS browned a bit but that's due to phosphates I believe. Got that under control too haha

2 hydras over a 90, 36"x24"x25".

Mounted 10" above water, cant go higher.

12pm-7pm, 3hr ramp.

W- 45
V- 95
R- 40
G- 40
Rb- 95
Db- 95
Uv- 85
