Jawsee.. Excellent! Can you post some more pics? That is TOTM worthy, for sure!

Hi,i only use one product from the zeoline, kaliumjodidfluor, furthermore i use trace elements from a local store, the total system contens about 23OO l water,i dose about 6 ml vodka on daily base,i also dose a NO3 booster(calciumnitrate),i do this for the past 3 years, for me it works great,in Europe we don't light whit 20000k because we believe corals don't grow onther them, for me this also is too blue but thats personal taste

I am curious about NO3 booster. Why do you add Nitrates to your system. ?

Hi,if i don't add nitrates too the system some acro's are starting too bleaching after a periode,i had this problem in the past several times,i have then put some more fish in the tank but i am now on the max whit fish for this tank,i give the fish a lot of food every day but stil never can't read NO3 or PO4 while testing the water, the corals are growing so hard they take everyting out of the water, since i put the calciumnitrate in the water i have solved this problem for a great part, sorry for my bad englisch:) some other pic's,this green hyachintus was 2 years ago only a 5 cm frag,it is now about 22 cm

id just like to have a say....

i personally do not own a marine tank though i have worked in the Display Aquarium trade for quite a while so i have quite abit of experience. Ive just sat and looked through the entire thread admiring a range of beautiful tanks. However i did pick up on one point. Alot of posts were filled with people essentially explaining themselves due to the quality of their pictures, the richness of the colours of their corals, the types of bulbs people are using and the condition of the lighting in the pictures. Its madness!!!! For anyone housing such beautiful, challenging and satisfying organisms in a tank is miraculous. It doesnt matter what SPS you keep, how big it is, or how rich the colours are. You should all be proud of what you are achieving. If you have corals that are healthy and you are able to maintain them, then you should believe that you have the best corals in the world - simply because it is you who is keeping them.

I can appreciate the need for perfection and always improving the conditions and environment inw hich you maintain your organisms. But please be proud of what you have achieved. If someone has told you your colours are off/the corals are small please just keep your head up high and keep at what you are achieving.

Thank you

Mike
