The specs on my tank 120g tech tank sps,and rare green Nepthea ,and some Sinularia ,400w Reeflux 10k ,2 250w Radium 20k on the sides ,3 Uri vho super actnics,1 actinic white vho Uri,2 fiji purple t5 ,Octo Extreme 250 skimmer,Geo 618 cal/reactor with some mag chips in it ,a Reef fantic ph controller running the reactor and 1 ph probe for the tank ,mag 18 ,2 Ecotech Vortecs, 2 Hydor Koralia, a #3 and a #4,150lbs Marco rock cleaned in a acid bath then seeded with live rock ,170lbs approx live sand ,Seachem reef salt the only salt I will ever use #1 in my book,I dose Mag,Iodine,Strontium,Potassium,only when needed which is very rare with this salt mix,I feel that my skimmer might be a little big for my tank so I add a little Zeovit Amino acid ,and Zooplankton ,and lots of fish food I over feed my fish to keep my coral color where I like it .Some gfo in a reactor thats about it ,a big skimmer a big sump and lots a light and lots a flow,lighting 12hrs ,1st vho actinics approx 3hrs then the 2 t5 fiji purp ,then at the 4th hour the center 400w reeflux 10k ,then at 6th hour the 2 side 20k radiums then at the 10th hour 400w off then the 250w off a 1/2 hour after then the actinics off at 12 hour I've been playing with running the 10k 400w reeflux 1/2 the week then putting in my xm 20k 400w for the other half of the week I feel my colors are getting even better but we will see in the long run

Looking great mark. So you have 1448 watts on a 120

WOW! Your not kidding that's alot of wattage and heat. Ever think about going all T5? You could cut your total lighting wattage down to 378W on that size tank while dramatically reducing heat.

LOL, nothing special here, just stability.

Here are some growth shots of the old tank for comparison. The growth from July '05 to June '06 is particularly impressive:

Here are a couple of shots of my tank. I upgraded from a 39g in Nov.08, and transferred all of the sps. I still have mostly frags and I know my tank has a long way to go yet, but I am happy with its progress.

Hi I was messing around with all t5's on my old 72 and I could never get my colors to the point where I was happy ,now with my latest combo I've never been happier ,as for heat my tank is in the basement without a chiller I never go over 79 or 80 ,the t5's did get hot I was overdriving them with icecap ballast but they did get very hot .and now I have a 400w xm 20k on my 250w hqi ballast,this happened by accident I put in my 400w xm 20k instead of my 250w xm on the right side and the color is insane it's getting underdriven but I love it been using it for over 2 weeks and my sps love it too !I wanted to do a side by side view with my 250w radium and my 250w xm 20k and made the mistake and put the 400w xm in and I was looking at my tank and the color on the xm side was off the hook a lot nicer then the 250 xm.
