I am worried about having the SPS in my tank getting feed, i know fish poop is good but is there anything else i am doing wrong or should start doing?

i feed rotifers, cyclopeze, chromaplex and brightwell M zooplanktos.i spot feed all SPS daily and alternate from the list above
i have an ATI 8 bulb on for 10 hrs total ( 6 bulbs for 5 hr and two for 10hr)

wrong? right? good ? bad?

any input will be appreciated

what size tanks and number of fish do you both keep.i wonder if i should slow/stop the SPS feeding. any input from the SPS gods? come on ive seen pics of those amazing tanks , please chime in with your secret or recomendation.

I think many of those guys would say to keep your fish very well fed.

I'm not target feeding. Not much of a trick, but I kill my return pump for 30-60mins and drop in some oysterfeast in the middle of the night when coral polyps are extended. I do this a few times a week. You may already be doing this, but if anything, try some night time feeding/viewing.

Cheers.

I have a 200gal with 13 fish in there. the biggest two are about 5.5" long. I don't like to feed them anything specifically cause the fish food is enough. plus I don't want too add any nitrates or phosphates . the frozenfood adds enough as it is

I believe in feeding sps but imho daily is more than is necessary. I feed once or twice a week. Keep an eye out for nitrate, phosphate or algae issues.

if the corals look lightened the u may need to feed more. if there dark less food would probly help. like mentioned above keeping an eye on the algae is important, but powermod is a strong light depending how the corals look adding something may help

what is better to feed my sps (mostly acros)...roti feast or oyster feast? also how often and how much? thank you in advance.

They're both good. If I had to pick just one, I might go with Oyster Feast. The directions on the bottle say 1-2 tsp per 100g per day, and to start with half that amount and ramp up. That seems like a bit much to me. I do 1-2 tsp once or twice a week in my 100g sps tank.

Freeze dried preparations (Reef Chili, Coral Frenzy) can also be good, don't require refrigeration and have a longer shelf life.
