Among the reef has gigs available now

Don't have time to search link but you can google it. I think it caused him to leave the hobby so he may have deleted his account. Here is a screen shot of the first page with his user name. But you can definitely find it on a google search.
Ah. Thank you. You had a typo, you said nemboy1 instead of nemoboy1, my apologies.

Thanks!

It's ok little buddy. Most can't see what they don't wanna see. You're on a mission brother.....a mission for commission, lol. Get over it man.....let it go. Your disbelief has consumed your internet time. Punch the clock and take it on to the house.

In all fairness, if the gig made it through treatment and is healthy, the lfs shouldn't have to give you a refund.

There's a difference between deliberately cut to propagate and accidentally cut while being collected -- the problem is that it's nearly impossible to prove one over the other.

Rips and tears are completely different. I had a gig that got caught in a MP40 and fully healed. It's only damaged the oral disk though. Rips on the foot where the mesenterial filaments are a different story -- it usually leads to the death of the nem.

Watdatthing, Lol, ok. Order you a set of tires and when one shows up on your porch with some plugs in it but it still holds air, don't complain or ask for money back, just throw it on, I mean it holds air right. It's principal guys.....some of you apparently bow down and get ran over in life, not this guy.

I agree. It's important to explain the the LFS or seller what to look for, and to avoid these gigs at all costs. They need to refuse shipment from the wholesaler who should refuse shipment from the exporter who should not buy from the collector or whoever cut the nem in the first place.

I think it's great that the retailer gave you a refund. They're taking care of their customer. And now they know what to look for to avoid receiving cut gigs in the future.

I know I get chippy on here it's what I do, lol. But in all seriousness, Among the reef has my respect as far as customer service goes and though I feel my specimen should not have been sent, Among the Reef bit the bullet to make it right. Some may not agree with me requesting a full refund but with all due respect it's not your nem and not your money. I do not wish ill on Among the Reef and again I say it is some of the best communication I've encountered from a company. I wish I would have requested more pics in the beginning. I know this thread has been a doozy but please don't let it sway anyone from doing business with Among the Reefs, just request quality pics. Do that with any store possible if an item is being shipped. Thanks to those with positive input. Treatment continues but it's rocky and I'm not confident in its survival but I'm doing my part.

On a mission? Lol ok, if you say so. :rolleye1::rolleye1::rolleye1:

You're just trying to blame the situation on everything but your own failure.

Let em' hang son, go buy another gig and try again. Document it!

If this one dies...will he be cut too? :spin2:

Can you get your best pic of the cuts and label it because I just don't see it.

Ghlreefer, Did you ever get your bulbs? You mean to tell me you got something defective and demanded something be done about it too. My oh my, what has the world come to?

Go to the corner, you're in time out. No smiley face for you today, no snack time either.

Dude, I like your tenacity. Don't take this personal.

My first blue gig died. I got it from Divers Den years ago. He did well and then deflated on me in the DT. I treated and he came back to life. Cut the treatment in 4 days and put him back in DT. He went down again and watched helplessly as he faded away.

Looking at your pic I see some things that could have contributed to his decline.

1. Gigs like super clean water and tank when they are being treated. I see a film on the bottom of the tank and it looks like you didn't dissolve the med that well.

2. No need to put direct light on them if they're deflated. They just don't need it until they start to recover a bit. I've treated multiple anemones without any light for 2-3 days.
