I have had a tang for about a month and it just dissapeard. Cloudless one of my anemones ate it. I have two good size GBTA and I think they could of ate it. Is it possible.

Hummm yeah. One of the primary diets for anemones is fish.

My tanks run around my Ritteri and I am waiting for the day that one couches a tentacle.

Not to be mean, but I would love to have my camera running that day just to see the method.

I know there are plenty of video's online. But I would be curious and to see what was left of it after a week or so.

A gbta would have a hard time holding on to a healthy fish.I have had several small fish run into some of my rbtas I had and never killed and eat any.

+1

A GBTA is not going to kill a healthy tang.

well it had a bacterial infection. I've been feeding it medicated food(reef safe) twice a day and do a water change 1 every 2 weeks. But one day it just disappeared.

Ya know.. when I orig replied to this I did not see the RBTA in it.... Now that I have read the replies and re-read the OP thread.. Ooops.. but... if it was sick... Stll that would be too big a meal for it. How big was the fish and the RBTA?

My vertrallis anthias was eaten by my blue gig:furious:. The gig is about 14". My lawnmower blennie used to lay in some of the larger bta's I had. And a tang would probably need to be dead to be caught by a bta especially one that size.
