My Anemone split a few days ago and only have room for 1 of these as they get pretty big. She was measuring a little over a foot before she split. Every split have sold since I have had it has been a clown magnet! Asking $45

I'm going to sound dumb here but what species is that? It looks like Macrodactyla doreensis but I didn't think they reproduced by fission, plus it's up in the rocks. Is it just a BTA with an identity crisis?

Your guess is as good as mine. I originally thought it was a long tip who knows! This anemone is pretty much stationary, hasn't moved for me in 2yrs. Are buuble tip more prone to travel than long tips?

does this anemone have veruccae?

does this anemone have veruccae?

one of the key ID features of Macrodactyla doreensis are the prominent veruccae (warty bumps) on the underside of the oral disc.

I don't think lando's anemone is Macrodactyla. See how the underside of the oral disc is sticking to the rock? That's a clue!

I will check for the underside when lights go on, never really noticed. I actually received this anemone from Steven before he started with ocean connection about 3-4 years ago. Best looking anemone I have owned
