This was sold to me as an LTA, but I have a hard time believing it. It's bleached out, obviously, but it's tentacles are stubbier than my LTA's are. It also has verrucae (or however you spell it). Sebae perhaps?

Sorry for the poor quality of the pics.

Frankly, I'm a little miffed because I ordered it online and it was sold to me as an LTA. Not sure I want a sebae, if that's what it is...

Even with shorter stubby tentacles?

It's been eating fairly well. I feed it a piece of krill every 3 days. Should I be feeding it more often?

Also, one of the bulbs is out on my bio cube, so it's probably not getting as much light as it is used to these past couple of days.

is his column attached to the rock or buried in the sand? To me he looks like a LTA specifically (M. doreensis) with really really stubby tentacles. You can look to see if his column has whitish, oval, spots to make sure.

stubby tentacles tend to be a sign of starvation, so the anemone is eating it's own flesh for substanance. just keep feeding it as you are and make sure you get that bulb fixed ASAP.

I'm just curious if it's actually an LTA. Don't get me wrong, I hope it is! It's just had stubby tentacles ever since I got it. I've had it for about a month now, and it hasn't changed except to bleach some.

His column is buried in the sand right now. He has an orange foot with verrucae on it. I believe they are whitish and oval. I'll look when I get home to make sure.

If it is in fact an LTA, how often should I be feeding it to get it better? Also, how long should it take for me to see a change?

Thanks for all of your help.

Yep whitish spots. Can't really tell if they are oval.
