Anemones and nano tank lighting?

Hey everyone! I was wondering how anemones are being kept in nano tanks. I see them all the time in nano cubes at the fish stores near me. I see them at the check out counter a lot of times with little clown fishes and anemones in them. My real question is how much wattage can these nano tank light hoods put out? It doesn't seem like a lot since one tank in particular that I saw didn't seem that brightly lit and yet there's anemones in it. I thought anemones need a lot of lighting and require at least VHO or metal halide lighting. Please enlighten me. :D

I have a 12 gal AP and the stock lighting was just pc's and I couldnt keep a nem. I tried and it was looking so bad that I gave it to a friend. So i then upgraded to a Current Sunpod 70W MH and it has done the trick. I have a RBTA that has almost doubled in size in 2 weeks. I also run a skimmer to help clean out the bio load cuz it is a lot for a 12 gal. hope this helps!

I put one of my clones in a new stock Biocube29. It did well, doubled in size and maintained it's color for around six months. Now at nine months it is hot pink, smaller and very bleached out looking. I've ordered new bulbs (2x36 watt power compacts) and will see if it colors back up.
