Anemones Touching

I have a haddion and a gbta in a 150. They have grown a little faster then i expected. The bta is above the carpet. Last week they started touching. A few days later the bta was on the move to find another place. He moved to a lot of new spots and ended up coming back to the carpet. Last night I attempted to place a couple chunks of live rock between them so they would not touch. Everytime I walked away my large Clarki would go nuts and knock over the rocks. He hangs out in the bta during the day and sleeps in the carpet at night. Niether nems are showing signs of stressing and fully open during the day but they still touch one another. Should I just leave them alone and see what happens? Anyone here ever have this happen? Thanks.

In a 150 you should be able to find room for them at opposite ends of the tank. I would not let them get near each other.

In my experiance most anems housed together long term will aclimate to each other. My corals are even used to being occasionally stung by the anems and my xenia actually grows side by side with a RBTA. All my anems have been in contact with each other at some point and the only one that seems to effect the others is my condy who has cleared a whole rock for itself
