Saw this guy at my lfs yesterday. Pickup first, treat next. Worry about permanent home later lol.

Didn't look exactly great at store, mouth open, but I loved the color, and couldn't pass up.

Dosed cipro at 250 mg/10 gallons last night.

Here it is this morning.

Not fully expanded yet but the foot is huge. I would say about 8 inches.

Looks pretty good so far, and yeah, awesome colors!
Which LFS did you get that, you're not too far from me.

I got it from PTF, pasadena tropical fish. They get mags in from time to time, and prices are always really good. Seaside in Huntington Beach is another place that carries them and sells for really cheap.
I've been hunting for one that color for a long time. Good luck with it.
Thanks. Fingers crossed that it'll make it.

Mouth looking floppy again after 2 days of looking good. I wonder why? Oh well, keep on treating!

Normal, it will go back and forth, as long as it seems 2 steps forward and only one back you're probably still on track, and for that reason that is why we say don't stop too early and place in tank, make sure it's all gone and good.

That's a beautiful mag. Best of luck!

I'm heading down to L.A. in a couple of weeks. I'll need to search for a nice mag like yours.

There's another shop in Gardena that gets them too, can't recall name, coralsaddiction is up that way and knows.

Haha yep. South Bay Aquarium. It's dirty but more often than not carries nice mags. Also, it's the only LFS where I have seen red base mags on quite a few occasions.

Cool! Hopefully you'll find a good one yourself :)

Darn I was just in Gardena yesterday, eating at the farmer boys over there. Had I known....!
That's a really nice looking mag!!
Thank you!

Here's today's update. Can't see the mouth, but it is closed. The black pellet excretion has slowed down tremendously. I am cautiously optimistic.
