I have recently discovered coraline growing in my tank now and know that it is a sign of a maturing tank but does this mean i can get a nem now? My tank has been set up for about 2 months now

That is a good sign, but rec is min of 6 months.

WAAAAAYYY too big!
A BTA would be best, and even then you will be limited on coral space in a 29 as they can sting corals.
My LTA is at 20"
Keep in mind you have to watch for intakes, and they do move or shift a bit.
And 6 months dude!
