Any detritus filters with SERIOUS turnover?

I keep having detritus build up in the tank despite lots of flow basically because of how the rock work is set up on my bare bottom 500 gal tank.
I can manually stir up the detritus but was looking for some way to maybe once a week hook up externally a filter that will run maybe 4000 gal/hr of water thru it so the detritus doesn't have a chance to settle down again.
The overflow doesn't seem to work well enough despite flowing ~1000 gal/hr and I'm tired of sucking on a swimming pool flex hose to filter detritus thru the sump sock filters and vacuum the bottom manually. :frog:
Any recommendations?
Thanks!

what about attaching a strong pump to the end of a stick and mounting the discharge directly to a filter sock? use it like a dustbuster?

this is what i do , but without a pump , i use a 3/4" hose and creat a siphon , the end goes into a bag filter and its good to go for a bit again ... usually 1 time a month i do it .
