I'm very hard-headed and don't learn easily. I've lost four of these to jumping. Just lost the fourth one about a week ago. :( I finally have a net to secure the tank. Just wanted to know if any of you experienced this.

Here is my lonely female. Now the search begins to find her a stunning mate. :)

I've herd any clown can jump but the only one I've ever had jump was when the female chased the juvi out of the tank. Lucky for me I watched it & threw him back in.

Any species of fish can be jumpers when they're faced with an aggressive tank mate or stressful situation... Most clowns aren't 'traditional' jumpers as some other fish are and many are successfully kept in open topped tanks. In my experience...

143gadgets... Do you know of any reasons yours may be jumping? Any unfriendly tank mates? I hadn't heard of picasso's jumping more or less than any other clowns... Who knows really what makes a fish jump. I wouldn't have guessed that would be a problem for you...

something in your tank is probably making it/forcing it to jump...could possibly be the lone survivor chasing all the other clowns out of the tank...just a thought/possibility
