My large clarkie clown (I call her big momma, but I don't tend to name my fish save for my tang and this is a family site so we'll leave that one alone)"bites"(really loudly) the surface of the water when she wants more food. She only seems to do it when I'm in the same room(I never hear it when I'm in a different room and she does it loudly) and now I think my large domino damsel has learned the trick and she's is in a tank 6-7 feet away.Anybody ealse's fish have away to get your attention or "beg" for food?

When I'm in the room and the tangs see me, they start pacing back and forth on the front glass. when they are full they swim normally, in and out of the rocks. My hippo tang about 6" was the only one that did it for about 3weeks and now my purple is doing it.

I'll see if i can catch a video of her doing it tonight but she is "camera shy" so it might be tough.

My lawnmower blenny, killed recently by my clowns in a holding tank :( would start grabbing snails off the front glass until I fed him. He was like a puppy dog, I miss him.

Not my fish but my cleaner shrimp comes all the way to edge of the tank when I want to feed and I'm force to hand feed him. It's amazing.

She was just doing it now but stopped when I tried to tape it lol. Keep em coming I like hearing other fish's quirks makes me feel like I'm not so crazy noticing these things. And sorry about the mower gone-fishing that is the worst thing about this hobby is losing a unique animal that you can't replace.

My rhomboid fairy wrasse was very shy at first but now whenever I am in the tank he swims in and between my fingers. All my fish pace the tank until I or anyone for that matter sit down in the room

The reason I know she she is biting air is when she swims back down she spits out 3-4 little air bubbles. She hides when I bring my phone over to take her so I'll try and charge the video camera and put it on a tripod or something, but that's another thing about this tank none of the fish like their picture taken(they must be Amish) they all hide in the rock work. It doesn't matter what I use (camera,iPhone no flash).I can take pics of my other two tanks of fish but this one is my reef(other two being a FOWLR full of my problem children and my sea horse tank with 3 fish) so you want some nice pictures. Oh well lol

Yeah, the clowns killed my blue assessor and my 6 line as well, all in one night, it was my fault as the holding tank (sold my current tank and waiting for new tank to cycle) temperature was a little warmer, so I think I triggered spawning. I don't think I could ever have another lawnmower, "Lenny" was like a dog, such a personality. As for Bonnie and Clyde, well, I don't look at those cute clowns the same way anymore.:uzi:

Looking forward to the video!
