Anybody scared of feather dusters?

I just got a Hawaiian feather duster yesterday which my gf put it in the tank for me when I was at work. Then when I got home I wanted to move it so I picked it up a little and it quickly popped right back in the tube. scared the heck out of me and made my gf scream. I love watching fish and others but hate touching them.

Wear gloves, before you meet something a lot fiercer than a duster. ;) One danger is being startled into dropping a specimen. And some creatures sting.

Hahah, for those people who have never kept or watched such creatures they are unaware of how they will react. Now you know, theres nothing to be afraid of. :D
Cheers

Even though feather dusters don't hurt it is always good practise to wear gloves----eg small unnoticed cuts can absorb poison from zoanthoids.

If you look closely enough at the little feathers you'll see that arent very delicate, they are actually covered in little razor sharp teeth which can grind up a fish before your eyes.
