Anyone ever hear of a niger trigger eating zoas??

I jusy added a niger trigger to my reef tank, and figured I would ask-

Anyone ever heard of a niger trigger eating zoa polyps??? I am pretty sure its unheard of, but figured I would ask.

mmmmm idk but it seems risky to me. i thought blue jaws and pink tails were more reef safe. also makes me wonder about paly toxin affecting them. hopefully you will get some better answers than mine

don't know, as don't they like to nibble on rocks and hard corals? haven't triggers in general considered non reef safe eventhough a select few have been tabbed as good ( but watch closely like pinks )

I had a Niger once in a frag tank till it could be transferred t oa permanent home. Never had any problems with it and corals. I did keep it well fed but can't say much about Nigers in general/ Sorry. maybe find a new home for it if yo are seeing it nip your corals.

I have a niger trigger in my reef tank he has never went after any of my zoas or anything in my tank. very good trigger.
