anyone tried to using Jebo WP40?

I'm going to try moving my moonlights forward a little bit so they are in front of the sensor. Maybe that will be enough light to keep it in night mode.

That did nothing. Actually, it didn't even go into night mode when the whites went off like it had previous nights.

The sensor is still working because later in the evening when all the lights were off and the moonlight was on I noticed that the pump would go into night mode depending on the amount of light that was coming off the TV.

i ran mine in night mode last night .. woke up this morning n its still in night mode i just stuck the control box on the side of my aquarium .. going to wait and see if it switches on when the stunners come on .. will let everyone know ..

Look around more. There are other places that sell them for less than Fish-street. I got mine for $70.06 shipped. Please don't flood my inbox with pms, just use Google and search for the pump name.

It's not that I don't believe you, but I Googled Jebao and WP40 pump and looked at all the hits, looked at Ebay and Amazon too...

All I found was 1 seller on Ebay at $120 and 1 thru Google search at $145. And you found yours at $70 delivered... OK, so I'm stupid, give a poor stupid guy some help? ;)

ron i look at it this way with out a receipt or a pic it didnt happen .. i have done searches for weeks and the lowest i found in the US was 118 shipped ..

I have talked to that seller and he is in talks with jebao about changing the warranty to English, which is one year. It came in my box in Chinese and I asked him what it meant. He also mentioned about working with them to get replacement parts here in the states. Of course he mentioned he was disappointed in there slow and poorly worded responses.

I've read the entire thread and don't remember seeing that.On page 78, nunodinis told me it would work.

Thanks for the reply. Can anyone lend me a hand and tell me what size of pot to get? I just looked on digikey and they have hundreds?

He is just asking people to flood his inbox for posting this as most of us can't find such a price.

Some of the customer service issues are expected when we decided to buy this low cost product. How much of their profit do you think is allocated to CS compared to Ecotech or Tunze? Probably very little. To be fair we have domestic companies behave the same on low margin products.

I'm calling BS. Maybe he bought a different "similiar" pump for $70...

I just bought a second one for $65 myself but I'm in on a group buy. My first one was $110 from fish street (grumble grumble overpriced shoulda waited for the big group buy discount)

I remember reading that it needed to be a 100k or 200k pot if you were going to try and use the night sensor location to try to slow it down, on the va line I dont know.

Arduino Guru's

Arduino Guru's

I have seen the various posts about controlling this pump with an arduino board. I am just wondering a few things first. If i purchace a mega uno or r3 and the Reef Angel control wire, what else would I need to buy and do to have the pump run the reef angel vortech modes. I am also looking at the lcd screens for the R3 so I can tell which mode it is in.

+1

Wish I had waited on my first. Hopefully it won't take long for the shipping.

He just posted the link where he found the pump for $70 but the post was immediately deleted but not before it sent out to my email address.

Notice the pump is not called Jebao or Jebo but called Domestic WP40! A knockoff of a knockoff?

i dont trust anything that has no info about it ..

It doesn't say it's a Jebao and they don't show the controller. It's a Chinese store selling thru the Chinese version of Ebay. And to get the $70. price you have take a $5 coupon (probably good for one pump only). Given what I've learned about EverGrow and the Chinese led manufacturing situation, my guess is somebody else is making this for Jebao and they are willing to sell to others if Jebao doesn't buy them all. Branding, and patents and proprietary products just don't happen in China. It's not the way they do business unless you are really a HUGE customer.
