anyone tried to using Jebo WP40?

Just in case anybody bought the wp40 and was to much for there tank this was my solution I don't know if it will damage the pump or not eventually I just know it worked I took my stepmoms dentist drill and I shaved of equally on both sides of the propeller and now I can even run else on my 36g bowfront standing wave every mode is now possible I tried the dimmers they burnt out while in use so if you'd like give it a try go ahead happy reefing.:)
 
im thinking about picking up another one for my cube .. think i will have dead spots on 1 side or the other .. i got a e mail this morning about now jersey has them and shipping out from the USA ..

If they are not trimmed identically the prop may mobile and cause uneven wear on the shaft.
 
There's a hobby shop down the street from me maybe I'll take it over and see if they can perfect it or sumthing though I think I did an alright job on doing it myself
 
It will need to be perfect. You'd be amazed at the difference it will make being balanced or not. These things are spinning at very high speeds.

Just spoke to the hobby shop they charge 25$ for balance I might just leave it and buy either the wp10-25 In a month or so i have to decide is there gona be any group buys for the wp10?
 
Yeah they over charge everything there I used to be into rc cars before reefing and would go there alot but I think it definitely needs to get balanced it sounds louder and vibrates more then before and thanks I will look out for the group buy cause I'm thinking two wp10s instead of one wp25
 
Anybody out there kind enough to lend me there order I'd number from fish street or lives in south fl and could order for me?...... I started shaving away at my impeller knowing the replacement was 3$ then later to find out its only available to those who bought from them directly please??
 
Yeah now that you guys say it I remember noticing they list there dates with day first followed by month so 1-12 would actually be dec 1 here in the states.
 
Just got mine off an ebay seller for 85$ and WOW this thing moves water. I'm currently at the end of cycling my 210g and only had ~1500gph from the return pump as the only flow and quite a bit of stuff built up on the sand bed, 12hours after tossing the WP40 about 95% of the sand bed is bright white and clean. The only dirty spot is directly below the power. My tank is 7' and I still feel a strong stream at ~4' and is still noticable one at the other end. I though I may need 2 or 3 for my tank but 1 + lock line returns should be enough for an LPS dominate tank. Now If only my skimmer would show up I'd be ready to start moving stuff from the 58g
