the more i look at the wave videos the more i think it will screw with my overflow by not letting enough water flow into it and end up losing syphon

What kind of setup do you have in your overflow? You shouldn't lose any siphon. You also have other modes to choose from. Not all of the modes create that back and forth cradle action.

degibson84 - The wave can be adjusted so its not that bad. Just make sure to play with the W1 mode with all pumps and return off. Otherwise you could get water all over your floor .

Editour2 - I currently have two 6105's , two 6055's, and a 6045 in my 180. I have turned all the other pumps off now. Here is side by side comparison of the 6105 and WP-40 the 6105 is on top.

Hi nightowl. How is the comparison of the noise produced by a 6105 (I have one and to me that would be the 0 in the scale) and the noise produced by a WP40?
