It just looks like his pump sits too far into the socket than mine. I wonder if replacing the bracket would solve his problem.
Greg,
Is it a simple plug it together or do you have to do some wire cutting and splicing? I like the added control, smaller size and lower cost. Good find.
just ordered 40 with the 3% discount. thanks for the day long read everyone.

I think it was suggested that you don't drop the voltage to below 12V to make sure the controller has enough voltage to operate. The controller may work below 12V but it is not a good thing.
My second unit shipped last night. A pair of WP-40s coming for my 48x24. Anyone think it's too much?![]()
I'm waiting on my second for the same size tank. I'm thinking ill have to turn them down a bit. Right now I'm running mine a long with 4 koralia 1400's. I'm hoping I can do away with all of the koralia.
That means it is cutting the voltage to the Driver as well correct? Didnt someone post a while back that this could be hard / damageing to the driver as the PWM signal turns off/on so fast...???
Where would you measure the voltage at? Inside the driver box where the power leads come in with a multimeter?
Any advantages to the dimmer over the power supply with multiple voltage settings? I should be getting my two powerheads this week. I already have one power supply but I need to grab another.
