That is correct. The connectors fit like a glove.

I don't think the pump cares, or can tell. If anything, the lower voltage would have an affect on the controller and not the pump.

Jtomasi, yes it is exactly the same LED dimmer that moatdaddy posted with the eBay link. No modification whatsoever. Just put it between the power supply and the controller.

Maybe I shouldn't have said adapters, the barrel plugs here. Appears it's all plug and play, the barrels come in different sizes, like 2.1mm or 2.5mm. I was just making sure they mated up with the controller without modification.

Also, are you using the stock power supply? I assumed you were, but on the left of this picture, I see what I believe to be the 'dust cover' for the variable power supply switch. Just curious. Power is power.

The tips, both the input and output end, of the dimmer is exactly the same size as the Jebo stock power supply tip.

rrasco, very observative of you to notice I was using the variable power supply from just the dust cover. Yes, in this picture I was still using the variable power supply to test this dimmer. It was set to 24V for this test.

I ordered a Jebao connection cable from RA. I'm hoping this will allow me to have full control of my wp-40 with my Apex. I'll report back once I have it for those also interested in Apex control.

For the past several years I've been running two 6105's with my Apex but hope to add this pump to the mix.

Looking forward to hearing out it turns out for you. I too am running 2 6105's with my apex and would love to control my (soon to get here) wp-40 via my apex.

Arduino and components should cost around 30usd... But hey... Why should you spend 30usd on a cheap diy instead of 200 or 300 bucks buying other stuff probably its why people go over MP40 instead of WP40...

It is advisable to use PWM to control the pump. It is designed to run at 24v and only 24 volts. You can reduce the voltage to reduce the speed, however it will increase heat and is not the right way to control a DC motor. PWM pulses 24 volts which therefore controls the speed of the motor. The cable from RA will correctly do this via the built in box when hooked to a RA or Apex.
