Same question as above, is the white voltage adjuster from eBay plug and play? No modification needed?
That is correct. The connectors fit like a glove.

This might be a stupid question, but which is better for the longevity of the pump, reducing voltage (like the white eBay adapter) or using a plug like the reef angel?
just ordered 40 with the 3% discount. thanks for the day long read everyone.
DC 5V-24V 4A 48W LED Light Dimmer Adjustable Bright Controller

Simon: The barrel adapters on that dimmer are the correct size? It appears that they are in the picture.
Maybe I shouldn't have said adapters, the barrel plugs here. Appears it's all plug and play, the barrels come in different sizes, like 2.1mm or 2.5mm. I was just making sure they mated up with the controller without modification.
Also, are you using the stock power supply? I assumed you were, but on the left of this picture, I see what I believe to be the 'dust cover' for the variable power supply switch. Just curious. Power is power.

I ordered a Jebao connection cable from RA. I'm hoping this will allow me to have full control of my wp-40 with my Apex. I'll report back once I have it for those also interested in Apex control.
For the past several years I've been running two 6105's with my Apex but hope to add this pump to the mix.
Thanks Simon. Patiently waiting for my WP40s.
Cool ,will let you know how this pump works with the apc and RA cable as soon as they arrive..
Well i know i'm Portuguese and maybe my english its not good enough but few pages back i posted that i did it with a arduino!!!I'm excited to build a controller for these. Trying to figure out what kind of interface it would have though. I was hoping to modify the RA code for it as well, so we can employ the various modes.

There is a video showing it and i can send the code...
Arduino and components should cost around 30usd...
All the best.
