Anyone using the Pacific coast flow accelerator?

I don't think I'll be less than impressed because it won't be a major source of flow for me, any how. If I get more than the locline I have been using I'll be happy. If I don't it doesn't even matter because the locline I have been using needed to be replaced because there were several cracks in it. This will just be a replacement for the locline. If I get more flow it's a bonus. My inquiry was more about the difference in the two not so much how much flow I could expect.

I am planning to hide about 12-16 of them in the rockwork of my tank(4 on a OM return, and 8-12 of them on the closed loop on a timmer)

I plan to use locline for all these connections so i can move them around as needed to hide them in the rocks. My original plan was to get the threaded eductors and the reverse threaded to locline adapters, but man that can really add up in cost(I think close to $30 per eductor) If these can produce even 3/4 the flow the other eductors can I think it might be worth it to use these. not to mention the smaller size might make it a bit easier to hide them.

I was avoiding them due to the smaller suction size, but if they work they work.....

Gotcha, let us know how you like it, and an estimate on how much extra flow you get.

Just a quick tidbit... I had a friend that placed a penguin penductor on his Mag9.5 and I felt that it easily increased total in tank flow about 2X vs the eductor-less outputs from before and an added benefit is that you cut flowthrough on your system so that it doesn't get as turbulent in the sump.

Peace,
John
