I think after posting my work in progress I never updated so here it is finished:
overflow boxes covered with egg crate structures (dry rock and mortar) and dry rock for the main structures in the display
(not sure if you can see it but it actually has a lot of caves, etc.)

Has anyone seen any updates for this tank (mentioned in Nordin's post #458)? This is one reason I popped in here: to see how other peeps are using their 'scapes to hide CL's in the tank bottom. It looks like Na2Cl did a super job of it.
Our new setup has four (4) CL returns in the bottom, and is a 3-side viewable peninsula (7' x 2' x 2'). I've plumbed and 'scaped lots of tanx, but this is a new style for me, so I'm looking a lots of setups.
Here are a few updated photos with the solar tubes in so you can actually see the rock work.
