Aargh. Having a heck of a time forming a "theme". My tank has a large 'center of the back wall' overflow. 48x24x21 tank. Ordered a bunch of Pukani. Know about the rule of 1/3's and golden mean, etc.

But my large pieces of rock and the overflow in the center are pushing me to the rule of halves, big pile of rocks, or the 'one-fingered salute' look. Anyone have some conceptual advice on what to do with the big honkin overflow being in the center? I don't think a secured to the back full-coverage wall will work in my situation.

Thanks.

We have bigger farts then nanos around these parts"¦

Are the zip ties staying or just in place to hold it together while some bonding takes place?

sorry for showing my fart
here's the reshaped scape. the ties will remain in place and corals will be positioned so they cover the ties.

I have not used any putty at this time. I wanted to build this so I could remove rocks if the need arose. I first built a structure out of 3/4 INCH PVC pipe. Then I core drilled each rock with a hole saw and slid them down the PVC rods.
I had a few smaller pieces I wanted to add to the larger ones, just to give some extra length to some of the arms. So I just zipped tied those onto the other rock.
I did not buy this rock from Marco Rocks. But I do believe it is pretty much the same rock. I got my rock local from Glasscages.

Do you realize that the 1st column on the right looks like a human with its arm sticking out to the left and legs to the right? The top piece even looks like a head. Thats creepy, but cool!
