That's a GREAT price. I just picked up a 50lb bag today for an experiment, and it cost me $16.99 from a chain pet store.

Every time I have been in there lately I have seen fish priced at or below the competition. It seems as if I can't go there without leaving with a new fish or two. The corals seem to be hit or miss as far as pricing. There are great bargains in some tanks and others are shocking but it is like that in other stores too. I am surprised that people will pay Liveaquaria $50 for a small frag of xenia but most of us have had trouble giving it away to other reefers. Once you are into the hobby as far as most of us are, you will see things that are surprising at any "fish store".
I hate to see people bashing AT because of the same things you would find just about anywhere else.
It seems like if you go to aquatic tech with an open mind and not looking for anything specific you will have a better experience than if you are searching for that one specific item that you really need right now.

When I needed Mexican Turbo snails to clear up a nasty red cotton candy algae infestation Greg had them in stock and priced right. Overall I would say we are lucky to have a store like AT so close to home. Greg also generously donates items to our Christmas raffle and Frag Swaps.

If your interested in zoa frags A.T. is the place. i personally cut almost of them and there are some really cool lookin ones. There goin fast so you better get them while they last. im surprised everyones playing nice and not bashing us for something(piratefish).

I just think there should be more selection with the zoas and have smaller frags... Maybe you can talk to Greg for us Jim or show him this thread.

The man has to make a living like the rest of us. Greg is a great guy and knows what he is talking about. I watched him raise seahorses and all that. Really loves what he does. Best selection of fish anywhere in ohio. I bet his overhead costs are crazy. Got to make that up somewhere.

has hell frozen over? are people actually not knocking aquatic tech.lol

Brunswick has....I think Columbia Station is next.

We were in the area yesterday, so my wife dropped me off while she went to get some other things done. I walked around for about a half hour. No one seemed interested in waiting on me the whole time I was there, so I left without buying anything.

I always look for Matt if I need some help.....most people get annoyed when salespeople keep asking if you need something....

ive noticed the same thing but when i ask for help i have no problem getting the stuff i want ... alot of people go there just to browse and thats probably part of y they dont jump to everybody they see
