Aquavista99's Orange Crush Acropora

The Orange Crush is one of my all-time favorite acros. Recently, I was able to get a few decent pictures focusing on just the tips of this amazing coral. I appreciate all the feedback. Thanks!

Well, I guess I am the only one in Ohio with an SPS tank and no Orange Crush Acro. We are going to have to do something about this fellas!!!

Nice piece. The last photo looks like it takes on the characteristics of a Mille.

I got an SPS tank in Ohio and don't have this acro either. I have gotten some frags off AV99 at frag swap and they are very colorful. I was going to get one of this coral this past fall at Columbus but didn't have the money. It's first on my list to get from him next time!

Picked up this and a few other things from Tim Today! AWESOME CORAL!!!!
Great Tank! And a Really Nice Guy:thumbsup:

The colors (pink or orangish tips, green polyps) and axial coralites do look like A. florida to me. The form is quite variable in this species - mine (from Garett's Acropolis) is pretty flat, but you can see in the photo below (not mine) that the tips can be quite orange under high lighting. Acropora florida is one of my favorites for sure.
