I have some mushrooms (ugly Brown ones) multiplying out of control in my tank. I added one that I received as a freebie a while back now there are like 6-7 popping up from under my LR. I was advised ti inject them with "Kalk" to kill them. I have some "Calc" that was in a Red Sea Reef Success kit. Is this the same? It says on the side "contains blended metal salts". Thanks!

All such terms are odd corruptions of german and english, but people often inject slurries of calcium hydroxide into pests like aiptasia to kill them. That is sometimes sold as "kalkwasser" or pickling lime. The Red Sea product would seem to be different, likely a calcium supplement.
