I believe I have finished all the major work for my 125 re-build. I can not find any good reason not to get going and move the tank. Before I make the final preparations and set a date, I was hoping one of you all could come by and review over the planned setup and move process.

So, if anyone is up for giving me a hand, please let me know. I'll buy beer, pizza or any thing that will entice you over :)

Click my red www house for details on the re-build.

Thank you in advance.

We will definitely want to use the suction cups!

Now do I get pizza for making a recommendation? :D

Thank you all for the responses... My thought was to first have one of you all over for a reality check so I can insure everything is ready for the move... plan it out. Should I buy a few more heaters or Maxijets for temporary holding etc... What is the best arrangement for temporary holding. I have thoughts on the move orchestration, but nothing beats advice of someone who has experience.

Once that is accomplished and all looks good, set a date based on your all availability. My schedule is wide open.

poolkeeper1 ... I'd love to have you stop by this weekend. Let me know what would work best for you... same goes for anyone else.

Again, I can not thank you all enough.

Hmm..if Bill is goin then I ain't! :-X

Just kiddin. :-) This weekend is lousy for me. the kid and his girlfriend (who will probably be my daughter in law soon enough) flew in from Seattle to surprise his mom for her birthday today and they are here all week, so this weekend I am sure is going to be spent with the kids...BUT..if there is a window of time I can sneak out, then I will.

That would be great andywe... Family first but if you need a break give me a shout.

If poolkeeper1 and you are able to pop in this week/end there should be no problem floating some move dates around. Again, I am open to whatever works for whomever is able to help.

Let me know what dates/days work best for you all.

Thanks for coming out Andy, it was good to meet you.

Based on the talk with Andy, there seems to be no reason not to schedule a move date. Any and all assistance is welcome. Please let me know what upcoming dates work for you all. Again, my schedule is flexible.

It was nice to meet you too Michael. Everything looks good and ready to go. A very nice setup. You have done a great job planning and building the area! It will be the envy of many, as I know I am!

Let me throw some dates out there. Let me know.

Weekend of:
Fri 4/17
Fr 2/24

The move can happen any day of the weekend. I was thinking either Friday after work or Saturday.

Thank you

No, I want to go back in time and have this thing done! ;)

Corrected Dates:
Fri 4/17
Fr 4/24

Bill is coming out my way sunday. I think he is coming over to your place as well. I can come over with Bill and I will be glad to help you with moving the tank. I live fairly close and don't mind helping at all.

BTW I love Kevin Smith (not physically). Do you listen to smodcast?

CeeGee, I am hoping Bill does stop on by. However, this weekend is too soon for the move.

I love Kevin Smith and his work (except maybe Clerks the cartoon series) I do not follow him that closely outside of movies so I do not know about his podcast.

It is hilarious (most of the time) and it is free. I always look forward to monday mornings to listen to the new one. You should check it out.

Whenever you need help with the move let me know.

AAArrrggghhh!!! Bad news. I started filling my 100 Gal Rubbermaid sump up with RO/DI water in prep for the move. When filling, the hose spilled a little water. I promptly cleaned it up, but a little got under the sump. I left a towel on the floor to soak up any left over. Got home this evening and the towel seemed too wet?!?! I Was worried I had a leak so I drained it, dried it completely and put 6" back in. I just checked on it and Fudge! Yep, there is a leak. :(

There is a small ding on one of the ends. Looks like a scratch/scoff mark. But I can definitely see tiny drops of water coming out.

Not sure what I am going to do. I have already learned that nothing can glue to this stuff. I'll do some thinking on it but am determined I'll fix this issue long before the planned move.

Sorry to hear that, Michael. That really stinks! Especially that you can't really glue it. What about epoxy? That may work well.
