I need opinions.. Plan to buy a 48" 3x75W LED & 8x54W T5 LED-Powermodule for tank dimen. 60"(l)x32"(w)x24"(h). I'm not sure if the unit will be enough for tank lenght of 60 inch? I dont like tank sides in semi dark.
Thanks for comment Sahin! I am from Europe but 60" will probably be too much and unnecessary also more expensive for 60" bulb replacement. Also not dimmable is not an option for me.
Lift up about 10" from the surface is way to go for a 48" unit on my dimensions. These will do a job I hope so.
Here's my build thread Sahin. Please leave opinions, comments, advice, money transfer, whatever you like on there. http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2455425]125g Peninsula Tank
So, soon will be nearly 2 years ATI Hybrid is on market. Did anyone had problems with Led unit so far (burned, malfunction, etc..)?
I'm very curious about longevity of that ATI LED (more precisely Philips and red cree) in real life.
When I create a new lighting program my 24 inch 8 bulb won't let me upload a 1 led cluster program, it says it requires the 4 cluster program. I did the firmware and software updated from the 12th. Anyone else have this problem, or know how to fix it? Also my preview mode isn't always working right, and sometimes my LEDS won't come on until the first set of T5s come on. I think it all stems from the cluster thing
Thanks
I have change my light profile to the max of 7,5 hours at max.
I use now the colours.
Red 100
Blue 255
Royal blue 255
White 45
Total led on 70%.
With this t5 combi.
Current lighting from front to back:

I got my 8 bulb led fixture from another member in my local forum and it came with bulbs. Finally i got new bulbs and i wanna replace them

1 coral +
2 purple +
All ATI bulbs.
So the question is. What is front of the fixture?? The thick cable to my left or to my right??
Thanks in advance

The fixture orientation ie left or right doesnt matter. Place either right or left to make it easy to route that fat cable to the bank of the tank/controller out of sight etc.
Next, locate the internal air vents, they look like this:

This is where the label end of the T5 is (called the coldspot):

The internal air vent and coldspot ie the lable must be on the same side.
Anyone carried out these updates.
No change / update information is detailed on the ATI website. Was wondering what changes have been made and are they bug free prior to carrying out the updates?
Thanks
Ahmed
The firmware that shipped with my controller is working just fine. The Software I downloaded nearly a year ago works fine.
I am not changing the firmware or the software. Why mess with it if it works; unless there is something specially from ATI that says there is an important need to update?
Agreed - however an update suggests either bug fixes or improvements?
No details are listed on ATI's website so trying to glean what the benefit would be?
Could someone post a picture of the actinic tube on 100% intensity, either mine is on very low or failed
Will post a pic after checking the unit
