ATI Powermodule Hybrid Club

The software engineers in Germany are working on an easy way to connect your Powermodule directly to your local network, which will keep the internal clock synced with your home network. You can already do this in the back end, but it is difficult especially if you don't have any network or linux experience.

Unfortunately I do not have an ETA.

Thanks for the update and let us know when something is available.

Sorry. Just to clarify.

Currently, a disturbance in the power supply means that the unit will reset to 8:00 and being a cycle from that point unless the unit is resynchronised with an external device? Can that be right?

How do you hang a PM to the ceiling with kit? Are people fastening to sheetrock only with toggle or are they installing to joist? I have sheetrock installed over steel bar joists.

Only if it has a problem. Most will keep time, however if yours does not hooking it to your local network is an easy way to fix it.

I have mine hanging from toggles in the drywall. You can do it either way, most people however are not lucky enough to have joist in just the right place above the tank.

Another option is I mounted the light to the studs in wall using a pair of d-lite projector screen mounts. Works great and I can do pull-ups from the mounts so I think the light will be fine lol

6 bulb unit here and used these in my ceiling.

https://www.homedepot.com/p/E-Z-Anc...-Duty-Drywall-Anchors-50-Pack-25310/100040265

The screws they use are small enough they fit right inside the cylinders ATI uses for hanging, and the cylinder head is large enough it hides the plastic. Each one is rated for 75lb, should be plenty strong enough. Been holding mine for a little over a year, and I move them up and down weekly for maintenance.

I would not recommend these. The 75lb weight is sheer strength, not pull out strength. It even says "Do not use for ceiling applications".

The regular toggles are going to be far stronger since they distribute the weight over more drywall vs those.

I agree do not use those anchors but EZ makes really awesome self drilling toggles if someone is looking for something easier to use then traditional toggles.

looking for 8x80 watt 4 cluster settings

looking for 8x80 watt 4 cluster settings

Hi guys and girls,
after some problems for the first 2 years with a hybrid, ATI Germany sorted me out with a new (UV led but not wireless) unit that has now been running for over 6 months without problems.
having found that my pelmit was actually dropping MDF into my tank (:uzi:) I finally suspended the light and within a week my nutrients dropped to almost nothing (my tank was more alcoholic than me and yet nitrates >50ppm for 18 months plus)
The tank seems to be starting to look hugely different apart from red slime still persist but things are slow to improve in reef tank.
What is your lighting period and intensity that produce great growth and colour?
Any replies or links would be fantastic!
Regards
Mart

The last four days in a row I have come home to a dark tank. As soon as I connect to it it seems to work. This is very frustrating. I already had a problem with a ballast when I received this now this. This is the latest version power module (black color). What do I have to do to get this to work consistently? How do I know if this is keeping time and how do I hook it up to a local network?

Keith my schedule typically runs until 9pm est and all of a sudden my room got bright, I like over and my tank was on mid day brightness again. I synced to the light and it immediately reverted back to the programmed schedule time. I didn't have any power disruptions either it's like the light just lost track of time. Does this signify I could have a hardware issue? I'd be really bummed if I do because it was a factory 2nd and I literally just passed my 90 day warranty.
