you wouldn't happen to know the scientific name, would you Paul

Hey Gary,

Guess what .. I haven't forgotten your request .... but before that here's a Full shot of a Batch of 'em White Line Sponges .... from one of our local LFS just this past weekend :eek1:

WhiteLineSponge.jpg

Scientific name: Trikentrion flabelliforme - White Line Sponge

HTH,
Paul

But maybe if you have a species specific tank you can provide the required conditions.

I have a large colony that I have had now for 18 months. Again, no major growth but survival and maybe very modest growth anyway.

bummer.

I wanted to know if either the sponge or the Parazoanthus survived and, if not, what might be the problem. I'm sure there's others here on RC that wondered as well.

Is anyone having luck with parazoanthids? Six or so years ago the Hedley's were selling red (para)epizoanthids. I tried them and didn't have luck; they said they were feeding them spirulina almost every time they walked past the low flow tank.
