automatic water change

mrx66699,

I know they will! Eddie doesn't have a choice. He already put a test up for his stenner showing that it was 64ml off in ten minutes. The beauty of the Liter Meter 3 is that even if my two pumps are off on the flow rate, then the Liter Meter 3 will correct it. I cant wait! Then I will also have a test extending the capabilities of the LM3. I will have it to view at booth 113 @ MACNA!

fyi, i've been using the Stenner for 2 months now, doing 12.8 gallons per day, and have seen no shift in SG in my tank.

CHSUB,

Stenner is a great product. CHSUB do you have your lines at the same height? I wonder what would happen with a Stenner if you had one line higher than the other?

Eddie,

King James has mad skills. I still do not believe to be at the caliber of Michael, but he's getting there. To even be considered Michael status he has to surpass Kobe status. 2 championships will not get it done. I think that the Cleveland fans over-reacted for sure, and it is so cool that you all would still appreciate him. I do however know that he will not take a pay cut this go around, and he will not share equally with wade and bosh with pay.

The heat will have to pony up this go around to keep him.

Jeremy

Jeremy- Dr. T has at least one of his lines going up into the attic not sure of second line, but im sure he described at beginning of this thread. Mine are at same level.

I wont disagree with Jordan....Kobe...I dont know man. But keep in mind many of great athletes never got a championship. Rings alone do not rate their skills and dominance. Think Tarkinton, Marino......

Hey guys I remember that you all were talking about extension cords. I don't normally recommend ebay, but I ran across this for you DIY.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/MOLEX-2-8mm...468?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item1e8b636b6c
Also they have two position ones. These are all things that I have, but I know that some of you like ebay. When making a patch cable be sure to use the same gauge wire, and make sure that the right wires are in the right position of the Molex.

I hope that everyone has a fantastic weekend. Go Heat! I remember how happy I was when D Wade won a championship after Shaq, and then when Kobe could not! Heheh

Ok so is the 100DMP4 - Stenner Pumps Chemical Feeder still holding true and working after all this time or have you moved to something else.

I am about to setup my mixing station in the garage for my new 180 in wall I am doing. I run APEX and would like to set this up the same as the OP.

Only thing I can think of is we are in the attic all the time so I will run PVC conduit to put the lines inside of it that way if they get stepped on don't have to worry about cracking them or something like that.

If they are still working great I think that's the route I want to go as well.

They are loaning him a Liter Meter to test and compare to the Stenner pumps for Automatic Water Changes.

When he is done testing it with will be raffled off at one of the club meetings.

Unless he is talking about something else.

Ah ok, thought maybe some all in one solution ;)

We are GIVING it to the club. Eddie is just the person who will be running the test with this product. I hope to see some of you at MACNA 2014!

Jeremy

nuxx,

It is a all in one solution, but it is not a DIY ;)

I'm probably lost, haven't kept track of the thread for a while.

What's the solution consist of again?

I need to setup something after we get back from vacation next month to do auto water changes.

The Lm3, and RPM with a TCM. IT is a water exchange device, that has back up over flow protection, and if set up right it also has sump drain protection.

This has its own control module. It will not work properly with an APEX.

or it also could be used to dose many things reliably.

Not ideal for ATO, but can be used.

The UPLC-II is the premier ATO that we offer. IT is independent of the Liter Meter 3, but does work with it.

Reel- Dont know anything about attic plumbing, but maybe Dr. T can chime in.

Our systems are running just fine, but you might want to wait till we evaluate the Spectrapure LM III.

Also I would want to run multi color lines so that they are easy to tell apart. May I aske where yall are finding these? Anyone have a link?

Bought my 1/4" PVC tubing on eBay for my attic run. It's rated to 30psi and 140 degrees plus it's uv resistant. It's very strong and bends easily. Just do a search for 1/4" PVC tubing on eBay.

Hey Jeremy- Hopefully I get the set up before MACNA, but we will definately be there. A few of us FMAS members already have tickets and rooms all that is left is airfare, LOL.

Thanks I was thinking this was more like a pex tubing and what I keep pulling up looks more like soft air line stuff.

Many of us are just using 1/4" or 3/8" LDPE tubing, same stuff as an RO/DI unit or an ice maker water line......not quite as temperature or UV resistant but much cheaper and just fine for interior runs.
