automatic water change

I'm trying to avoid having a separate eb4 outside. That's more $ and I'm not sure they are rated for the exposure in my patio. Great ideas. Keep them coming!

Ok, I get your concern, so why not an 8' extension power cord? Easy to test before you permanently run through walls or whatever you have to do.

Plug won't fit. I guess I'd have to cut end off and reattach. The other idea is to get a dc4/8 and just run the phone cord. Decisions decisions!

A very non educated comment- but thats what i was thinking.

I agree getting a dc4 or 8 just for this purpose is $$, and if it sits outside ...who knows what will happen to it in the future with our humid and hot weather.

BTW- Marvin- dont forget the safety, and redundant features available. A float switch to shut of pump if fresh SW bin goes dry is a big piece of mind. I used an apex break out box and auto top off. com float switch for this.

I haven't. I'm thinking about running a cat5 cable to run all that stuff and back to my breakout box. But before I do that. I need to mount my apex and fix my embarrassing rats nest, mess of wires, controllers and everything else electrical on my tank.

For now. I am thinking a mechanical spring loaded timer that goes up to 60 mins. This would work until I clean up my wires.

@eddie. I will be sending your clubs LM3 set up. You are correct about giving people data. Not everyone can afford everything. The whole point was to give people options.

You guys could just use the same gauge wire, and use Amp connectors to create a patch cable.

After Eddie runs his test then perhaps Dr. T can take a crack at it. I am certain he will be unbiased.

Jeremy ....Yes Eddie and Dr. Thompson will both be unbiased Im sure.... I was just giving them a hard time about their Jet Engines ....They both have seen my setup with the Litermeter III and just don't want to admit defeat lol.....Thank you for your continued support of our FMAS club

I know they will! Eddie doesn't have a choice. He already put a test up for his stenner showing that it was 64ml off in ten minutes. The beauty of the Liter Meter 3 is that even if my two pumps are off on the flow rate, then the Liter Meter 3 will correct it. I cant wait! Then I will also have a test extending the capabilities of the LM3. I will have it to view at booth 113 @ MACNA!

We love King James. If he chooses to leave, unlike the miserable Cleveland fans and ownership, we WILL THANK HIM for at least 3 straight visits to the championship (excluding what might happen over the next few weeks) and 2 stright Championships. Why would he go back to Cleveland and play with their newly drafted teenagers, versus staying here and playing ball with experienced MEN? James is not alone here unlike Barkleys nonesense.
