I just cannot stop looking at these pictures. Were they bred? Being Aquacultured? What's the story? What are they eating? Can you take a movie?

Sorry for all the questions but I'm just a little excited.

Hello yes they feeding on baby mysis.

They captive raised but our hope is to close the cycle within a few years and have repeatable success.

Animals will go to Public Aqurium trade mostly.

Video seem to large to upload here.

Still can't stop looking at these. They are so cool.
So " most" go to public aquariums..... What about the others? Do you get a discount?

Very cool! Thanks for sharing.

And definitely let us know if you successfully close the cycle!

Is this the first time you have tried to raise Weedy Sea Dragons? If not, how far have you gotten with them before they start to die off?

That is amazing! Probably my favorite sea creature. It's great to see they are successfully being captive raised from fry. Thank you very much for sharing!

Thanks for comments.
Yes I have raised before but not in these numbers
Leafys I would love to and may be in the future if we can permit but unlikely.
Do far going ok animals are in a 50000 Liter system and I think large volume is helping a lot with stability especially on hot days

Cheers

OH. MY. GOSH. SO CUTE!
You're breeding one of my absolute favorite critters! Little bits of seaweedy fishness.
Can you post video of them? I really want to see how these guys move.
